Join us!  The Montgomery chapter of Organize Alabama (OAM) will share the successful strategies that increased Montgomery County voter turnout in the 2018 midterm election, with breakout sessions that deep dive into the following areas:  Absentee Ballots, Party at the Polls, County Operations Center, Swing Voter Engagement, Voter Rights Restoration, Communications and Social Media, Precinct Organizing, How to Grow Your Organization, and Membership Recruitment/Volunteer Mobilization. 

There will also be round table discussions engaging different demographics of the Democratic party.  Sessions are developed and organized by OAM grassroots leaders Eddie Compton, Beverly Shaffer, Paula Turley and Judith Taylor along with guest leaders from “The United State of Women”, Kesha Tilton and the “National Democratic Training Center”, Collyn Warner.

Organize Alabama! Statewide Spring Conference

We all want to hear how Lee County Dems came in as the TOP county in the state to move the needle on red to blue in the DJ campaign. Laura Mirarchi, Lee County Dems Vice-Chair and an Organize Alabama! board member will lead this workshop with volunteers from LCDems.

Montgomery County OA! will be there to tell us how they have pulled together from various resistance groups to one umbrella OA! Montgomery group and what they are planning for 2018.

OA! Wiregrass leaders will tell of their recent regional conference and how they are working together across their congressional district in order to take that Congressional seat from the Republicans this November! And lots more to come...

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no ID or minimum age requirements; however, if there are enough requests for babysitting for the day, we will work to accommodate that request. Please send an email to with the age and number of children you would like to bring.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is ample parking around the facility.

What can I bring into the event?

You may bring a tablet, iPad, or laptop if you would like. However, there is nothing required.

What's the refund policy?

There are no refunds. Online ticket sales close Thursday midnight. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $25.

Is lunch included?

No, lunch will be on your own as there are several restaurant options near the facility.
