Organize Alabama (OA) is a network of individuals led by some who worked in the field operations of the Obama campaign in 2012, where real grassroots organizing tools were used!
Since that time there have been many attempts to use the things we learned with different groups in Alabama but nothing of any significance has actually been built on the grassroots level, so we decided to start our own organization and put our knowledge and experience to use.
We see OA as a "sister" organization to others that have come into being over the last few years. Our support extends to all the many grassroots groups large and small in every urban and rural area of the state.
Together, we can Organize Alabama!
Find, connect, and support Democrats and other independent progressives in their communities in order to rebuild strong grassroots Democratic organization.
Share lessons and offer educational online trainings and conferences that will help build and strengthen new and existing clubs, county committees and the state and national party.
Use VoteBuilder to run a constant statewide, data-focused field operation that will enable us to assist in electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
